A 1750 Duetto Spider, rebuilt as something that cannot be bought. Vendetta + Duetto: a single-seat, Rosso Cordoba interpretation of the round-tail Duetto, with every new part designed and made at Tornante Studio.

About this project
Fifteen kilometres in, the steering box caught fire. I bought the Duetto in 2023. Fifteen kilometres later it was on fire, so I handed it to a self-declared expert in Achterveld for a proper restoration. A six-figure bill later the car lay in pieces on his floor with no end in sight anywhere.
I collected it in boxes and took the build into my own hands. That is where the name comes from — a vendetta, carried out in carbon. It is not going back to standard. It is being rebuilt as a single-seat, Rosso Cordoba interpretation of the round-tail Duetto.
The rule: every new part is designed and made at Tornante Studio. Nothing outsourced, nothing watered down, no deadline that belongs to somebody else.
An automotive design studio. We design and build parts for cars that were never meant to have them — carbon lay-up, CNC work and finishing under one roof. That is the only reason the Venduetto can be built this way. Every part on this car is a studio part. The ones that earn it end up in the catalogue.

Made in-house
Our own studio project, going into a car for the first time — the anchor of the cockpit.
The bench goes; one carbon panel takes its place. Weight out, clean deck behind the driver.
Drawn against the scanned nose, so it follows the Pininfarina line instead of fighting it.
A single mirror far forward on the wing, machined to match the car’s hardware family.

One seat, laid up in-house and shaped around the driver. Fixed-back, no rails to hide.
Finish — Ferrari Rosso Cordoba over GM Zeus accents. Everything that gets hot goes out in Cerakote Burnt Bronze.
Build log
Latest first
Bare shell scanned, so every new part is designed against real geometry instead of guesswork. In progress.
The build goes public: name, logo, direction. Not a restoration — a full custom on the round-tail Duetto.
2023–2026. Six figures spent, the car fully apart, no finish line in sight. I collected it in boxes and stopped outsourcing.
